Can I crop a perfect square?
Pick the 1:1 preset and the selection stays square no matter how you drag.
Can I undo a crop?
Ctrl+Z undoes it, and the original is untouched until you download.
Can I crop to an exact pixel size?
Drag roughly, then type the exact width and height in the panel — the frame snaps to it.
Does cropping re-encode the image?
The pixels you keep are untouched. Re-encoding only happens when you export, and PNG or WebP keeps it lossless.
Can I crop a GIF?
Yes — the crop applies to every frame, and the animation is re-encoded on download.
