- Does resizing hurt quality?
- Scaling down is essentially lossless. Enlarging past the original resolution softens the image, so stay within it where you can.
- Can I resize many files at once?
- Batch processing is a Pro feature. One at a time is free with no limit.
- Does the file size drop too?
- Usually by a lot. Fewer pixels means less data, and you can trade a little more with the quality slider when you export as JPG or WebP.
- Can I resize by percentage instead of pixels?
- Yes. Switch the unit to percent and type 50 to halve it — the ratio lock keeps both sides in step.
- Does it work on transparent PNGs?
- Yes, and transparency survives as long as you export as PNG or WebP. JPG has no alpha channel and fills it with the background colour you pick.
