Click the color you want gone and it turns transparent. Tolerance controls how far it spreads.

- The edges look rough.
- Raise the tolerance a little and turn on edge feathering. The eraser cleans up whatever is left.
- Does it work well on logos?
- Yes — flat backgrounds give the cleanest result. For busy photos, combine it with the lasso or fuzzy select.
- Which formats can hold transparency?
- PNG, WebP and GIF. JPG cannot — export as JPG and the transparent area is filled with the background colour you pick.
- The background is a gradient, not one flat colour.
- Raise the tolerance so neighbouring shades are caught too, or select the area with the lasso first and clear it in one go.
- Can I bring back a part I erased too far?
- Ctrl+Z steps back, and the restore brush paints the original pixels in again without starting over.
