- Can I edit the layers?
- No — it is read-only as PNG and layers are flattened. Saving back to PSD is not supported.
- Which PSD files work?
- RGB 8-bit PSD. CMYK/LAB, 16-bit and PSB are not supported.
- Are text and effects preserved?
- They appear exactly as the file was last saved, because the composite embedded in it is what gets read. From that point on they are pixels, not editable text.
- Is my file uploaded anywhere?
- No. The PSD is parsed inside your browser and never leaves the machine.
- How big a PSD can it open?
- Up to 50 MB, RGB 8-bit. Large files take a few seconds to parse because it all happens locally.
